Pattaya Rent a Car: car hire for long-stay tenants in Jomtien
Most of our tenants arrive without a car. For the first week that is fine: Jomtien is easy on foot and the baht buses run along the beach. Then they want to do a proper shop, see a doctor across town or spend a day somewhere down the coast, and they ask us about car hire in Jomtien. We send them to Pattaya Rent a Car.
First, the important part: I own it

What I can promise is this. The same business ethics and the same professionalism apply across all of my businesses. The facts
Pattaya Rent a Car has been operating since 2010 and has a fleet of more than 100 vehicles. At the time of writing it holds a rating of 4.9 on Google from over 1,350 reviews. Those reviews are from customers, not from me, and they are the best evidence I can offer.
- Prices from 590 baht a day for an economy car.
- Comprehensive insurance is included with every rental.
- Free delivery within 10 km of the office, which covers most of Jomtien and Pattaya. The car comes to your condo.
- Cancel free of charge. Just let the team know as early as you can.
- Pay on collection. You do not pay when you book.
- The minimum rental is two days.

All rentals are self-drive. Pattaya Rent a Car does not supply cars with drivers.
Why it suits a long-stay tenant
You can rent by the month. If you are here for a season, a monthly rental usually makes more sense than buying a car, registering it and selling it again when you leave. Ask the team for the long-term rate.
It widens where you can live. Without a car, most people want to be within walking distance of Jomtien Beach Road. With one, the quieter and often better-value buildings further back, and the houses out towards Na Jomtien and Huay Yai, become practical choices.
It makes the area yours. Bang Saray, the vineyards, the islands ferry at Bali Hai, the big supermarkets on Sukhumvit: all of it is an easy drive, and none of it is easy by baht bus.
You are met at the airport if you need to be. Delivery to U-Tapao Airport is available for a charge of 2,000 baht.
If you want a motorbike instead
Motorbikes are rented through a sister site, Pattaya Rent a Bike. Bikes are not delivered. You collect and return them at the office.
